Wisconsin - Sheboygan

Sheboygan

Older homes on Ontario Avenue as I head east toward Lake Michigan.

There is only one body of water this could be.

The Sheboygan shore is best known for the wreck of the Lottie Cooper, which wrecked offshore in an 1894 gale and was recovered during construction of the marina in 1990. You can explore it in DeLand Park.

And explore it I did. The last photo is the rudder and rudder post, and the prior photo is the windlass (used for raising anchors, which could take the better part of a day due to the weight of the anchor and mechanical advantage). (And if you don't know what mechanical advantage is, start reading about one of the fundamentals of physics and engineering!)

This dude knows aerodynamics better than you.
