Victoria - Bay of Islands

Bay of Islands

Having a general look-around, from southeast to northwest. There appear to be a couple of islands.

Starting in the southeast, here is our very first island. And it has its own mini-island next to it. I would say this is the only arch to be found in Bay of Islands, but look more closely at the mini-island and you'll spy a mini-arch!

This could be called Battleship Island, or apparently Bird Island. Or Spooky Cave of Doom Island.

The next pair of islands appears to be ideal for roosting or nesting birds.

How many islands do we have here - two, or three? The think rock line connecting the last two suggests this is in question.

With this, we have made it all the way to the northwest around the many Islands in the Bay. Such as you may wish to define Islands. Not sure about those last two - is the tide low?

The scenery to the north across the bay is certainly worth enjoying, even without islands.

The next bay to the southeast is Bay of Martyrs. There are a few islands to be seen looking northwest from there, technically outside of the Bay of Islands and not ones I saw from my previous vantage.
