The highway cuts through Little Walker Mountain but won't be able to do the same at Big Walker Mountain. That gets a tunnel.


A brief westward bend between Brushy Mountain and Hogback reveals Round Mountain.


This is Rocky Gap, and I hope you can figure out why it's named that. It separates Rich and Wolf Creek Mountains.


Just like before, there is no gap in East River Mountain, so another tunnel (and West Virginia thereafter) awaits. Photos pan from north to west. The whole ridge you see here is the same mountain.
