Looking west across Pitt Water from nearly identical spots north of Lewisham, four hours apart, one can see Mt. Rumney in front of the shadowy Mt. Wellington.


Looking west from near Sorell, one can see the Pontos Hills, with Mt. Lord at centre, fronting the northwestern limits of Pitt Water.
