South Australia - Naracoorte

Naracoorte

Photos head east along Smith Street.

This is an NAB, or National Australia Bank, branch. When it was built in 1873, it was the National Bank Building, so that works out. Unlike most banks, this one includes a residence on the second storey.

Kincraig was the original name of Naracoorte when this hotel opened in 1934.

Another bank building, the 1884 Commercial Bank of South Australia, is now the district council building.
