Not the most glamorous greeting for travelers entering town from the east on Barkly Highway.


Views to the north and northeast as I head up Lookout Road to the Mt. Isa Lookout.


The lookout features three things: views, monuments, and kites. If it's a nice day, maybe two kinds of kites.


From the top, continuing where I left off, panning from east, through south, to west. It wouldn't be honest if I didn't include the heavy industry, but at least you get hills and a rainy sunset.
