Heading south out of Townsville on Charters Towers Road, State Route 17.


Sunrise on State Route 72, then into the Hervey Range.


The Hervey Range is clearly part of the Great Dividing Range, as you can see the divide from plains to interior to the north illuminated by the rising sun. All but the 1st photo pan from left (NW) to right (nearly east).

To my north, an unnamed, intermittent feeder to the Burdekin River.


I have now turned north on State Route 63. The first photo is south of the Burdekin River, and the last three are about 20 kilometres north of it.


This can't power much, on State Route 62 north of Conjuboy.
