The falls are right by the road, so even the parking lot offers a great view.


Just a few metres south and you get a much better falls view.


In New Zealand, no one stops you from walking across the (Hatea) river.


Same view, different exposures - short for the drippy view, long for the feathery view.


I'm not wading into the waterfall but there are no problems going to the shore of the base.
