Trenton

Few of the buildings on this page retain their original functions.

Olden Avenue at Ohio Avenue.

Just north of Olden Avenue, the former East Trenton Library is #701 North Clinton Avenue.
Remaining photos continue south on North Clinton Avenue, odd numbers on the west side.

#71 North Clinton.

#65 North Clinton includes more modern extensions as part of church property.

#59 North Clinton.

#39 North Clinton.

These photos progress north instead of south because I am on the east side of the road. This is #50 North Clinton, and the letters above the door once spelled out "Crescent Temple A.A.O.N.M.S." - originally built by and for the Shriners. That is why this temple looks more like a mosque, and leads to some amazing details I would like to share with you.

By photo, these are the left and right windows on the first floor (south/right of the main entrance), the left and right windows on the second floor, and the third floor window and sill.

There are several rainbow domes on the building. Here is the top dome, roof trim that either looks like leaves or birds (flora or fauna, as it were), and different angles of the dome over the main entrance.

Finally, here are some details of the main entrance doorway, with a hint of the ornamentation around the door inside.

And with that, I leave you with one last building, technically #450 State Street. This one is still a church.
