Nebraska - Lincoln

Lincoln

Heading east on O Street (US Route 34) starting at the railroad overpass west of downtown. The last building was both a courthouse (1879-1906) and city hall (1906-1969) in former lives, and is finished entirely in limestone.

The new courthouse - and post office - was built immediately behind the old one in 1904, with functions transferred two years later. This is now the Grand Manse.

Finishing my O Street photos with the Burr Block (later the Anderson Building) at 12th Street.

St. Mary's Catholic is on 14th Street at K Street, just north of the following building.

Many views and architectural details of the State Capitol. The man on top is The Sower, and he is sowing (seeds).
