Vertebrates

This goat is deformed, but it's not because of the 4 horns, normal for this particular breed. It's that stubby little fifth horn that makes him an adorable freak.

The second cutest mammal to cats. They're even faster when you're trying to take a picture with your phone.

These birds will fly anywhere in Wildwood food is to be found.

More birds, a.k.a. geese, with the luxury of crossing this lazy side street (a glorified driveway, really) at their leisure. All, oh, 200 of them or so, and they were all gaggling around the same little detention basin before they set out to the professional office building across the road.

A few wild but camera-shy turkeys in the woods between Roseland and Livingston, NJ.

That's a beautiful cock. Pea.

More beautiful birds, starting with a pelican and a robin and ending with me being not very good at identifying birds. He's from Detroit. I wouldn't cross him.

La Posta is a tropically themed Mexican restaurant in Old Town Mesilla, NM. To add rainforest feel, these charming gents live inside the spacious building to greet visitors and nip the fingers of feckless children.

A frog family chills out in the middle of a miniature golf course pond.

Unrelated frogs, the second at Grist Mill Covered Bridge in Vermont (go there for closeup and photos unrelated to frogs). Actually, the last two might be related, because they were both at the same farm in PA.

Two small turtles and one large one. Looking at its claw, I bet that's why the other two are taking a break from swimming. The first photo is of Eastern Painted Turtles and the second is likely a Common Snapping Turtle, identified by Lex Piccione.

Cute little Louisiana lizard.
