Massachusetts - Third Eye Blind

Third Eye Blind at Harvard, 4/28/07

On my way to the front of the crowd, I passed Harvard's Memorial Church.

Guitarist Tony Friedanelli and tour bassist Leo Kremer tune their instruments. My camera says the show is beginning around 7 PM, but it also says it's the 27th instead of the 28th, so do I trust it?

The band has made their full entrance. Brad Hargreaves is on the drums and lead Stephan Jenkins is trying to hear the crowd. He rarely cracks a smile, so that might actually be what he's doing instead of encouraging us.

Some of my better shots of the band, the last two left and right of the same photo. I'm not sure what Stephan is wearing on that face but it looks like the other band members are laughing at him. Maybe because he himself never laughs. Or because he's barefoot. I know it's raining, but why can't you wear shoes on stage like everyone else?

I apologize that my photos struggle in the rainy dusk. You can see Stephan plays a range of instruments, such as the tambourine. A later photo suggested it's Leo's family on stage, which is interesting because he's the only man on the tour who isn't a band member otherwise.

On the other hand, the stage lights gave me such great resolution I split this photo into three pieces for the best resolution of Tony, Stephan, Brad, and Leo separately. Well, Brad and Leo fit without me reducing the size so they can stay together.

Only Stephan could wear this hat without cracking a grin.

Many minutes later, I got one last photo of the stage that felt perfectly centered on the drum kit.

I will close with one of my oldest videos on YouTube, but to date my only YouTube video over 10k or anywhere close. Maybe because I got Summertown up before they had released the song! Thanks for showing us early, guys. Warning: If you click to listen, it's not the best sound. 2007 camera "quality."
