Government Street United Methodist Church, conveniently named after its location.

Driving down colorful but partly abandoned Dauphin St. to Bienville Square, heart of the oldest and second-largest Mardi Gras celebration in the country (and not too far from the largest, most famous one). In fact, I was through here the morning after, so the decorations were still up, beads were hanging in the trees, and there was not a soul to be seen on the road. This during rush hour on a Wednesday. Clearly, a lot of sick days were being taken.
