All photos were taken westbound, except for those at the end of Trestik Rd.


The same progression as on the US 10 non-construction page, but in April 2012 instead of October 2011. The concrete plant has been removed from the expressway, as paving has been completed on this part. The last photo looks back east at the merge of the temporary US 10 expressway connector into the old road, which is cut off at WIS 34 for this stage.


In October 2011, there was still ongoing paving work on this eastern expressway segment, but all of this (trucks and gravel piles) was gone by April 2012.

Between Milladore and Auburndale, the new US 10 expressway sweeps down from the north and cuts across the old road (now CTH P, post-expressway completion) and adjacent railroad on the south side. The last photo looks north on Smokey Hill Rd., then used for construction access and now removed completely from here to the expressway berm.

October 2011: Temporary slip ramp under construction west of Auburndale.


April 2012: The slip ramp is open, taking US 10 traffic onto the future WB lanes, with a look back east at the merge in the last photo. The expressway runs over the old road a few times near Hewitt, which is why traffic had to be detoured onto it during construction.
