Click on the photo at left for a closeup. This old shield is just south of the NH 1 tripoint near Launceston, where the main branch of NH 1 heads from Burnie to Hobart while an offshoot reaches downtown Launceston. (I think that's silly - call it another NH number, maybe NH 8 to tie into A8.)
