Saskatchewan Roads/Non-Roads - SK 730

SK 730

All photos are eastbound except the first.

Typical municipal numbered route shields in this fun-to-spell province at the west end of SK 730. Those are wheat sheaves.

Sun rises in the east where pavement will eventually begin.

Didn't want to interrupt the scenery with an older, albeit blurry, route shield.

It's strange to see the Regina city skyline from a gravel farm road. There's not much suburbia in the prairies.

The icy morning clouds of America's tuque (Canada) made the perfect conditions to see sundogs to my left and right. Sundogs are essentially small fragments of rainbows - perhaps icebows is more accurate - that appear perpendicular to the sun in just the right atmospheric conditions.
