Québec Roads - QC 216

QC 216

On the south side of Sherbrooke, QC 216 WB turns left from Blvd. de l'Université. Notice that the word North made it into Québec - there are a lot of English names (and thus early influence) in this area, just like northwest of Montréal.

From QC 216 EB at the same intersection, you can see where Blvd. de l'Université leads.

Continuing with QC 216 on that Blvd., it ends and QC 216 turns right on Rue Galt. What could possibly be below a right arrow?

Courtesy Liliana Vivian Vess, this lesser-known Pont Taschereau (compared to the one on A-20) crosses Rivière Etchemin as she heads west from QC 277.

Québec has a wonderful array of hard-to-find reused "ROUTE" shields from before green shields appeared in the 1960s, when black-on-white signs transitioned to white-on-green. Also courtesy Liliana, these are right across from Pont Tascherau, approaching on 5e Rue WB. The first two photos are top and bottom of the same assembly, with Route 29 on the back of the QC 277 shield.
