Pennsylvania Roads - Misc. - E.

Miscellany of eastern PA

Old PA town "keystone" signs on PA 363 SB and PA 434 EB. They date to the 1930s at the latest, but almost all are repainted periodically.

I have to think that this failed keystone on PA 241 EB was refinished from an original cast iron one.

Amish Crossing, Duck Crossing. Second photo is on PA 282.

PA 434 NB.

An oblique railroad crossing of the Lehigh River, looking west from the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs stadium in Allentown.

Easton Rd. SB, at Bradfield Rd. and then near Glenside Ave., in the Philadelphia area. The third photo is, of course, a closer shot of the second.

PA 858 ends at the New York border, becoming the aptly named Pennsylvania Avenue.
