Ohio Roads - US 52 - EB, Ironton and E.

US 52 eastbound, Ironton and east

Once I get to the exit gore, the next several photos look lovingly at the Ben Williamson (green) and Simeon Willis (blue) bridges leading into and out of Ashland, respectively. The Ben Williamson was the original two-way bridge until the Willis was built in 1985.

The last few signs are for the Solida Rd. exit, since none of the signs mentioning the road are button copy anymore.

The second photo is here to showcase the strange one-way signs pervading the southeast end of US 52 in Ohio, but I can also demonstrate Ohio's standard square county shield.

US 52 exits itself onto the 1970 West Huntington Bridge to head into Kentucky as OH 7 begins ahead. A right arrow on the first sign would really help tell you that you need to exit, as opposed to continuing straight on what is not US 52. The bridge to the north also looks old but is even newer, the 1991 Robert C. Byrd Bridge leading from OH 527.
