New Zealand Roads - NZ 20A

All photos were taken northbound.

The first highway photo I took in the Southern Hemisphere is this old roundabout sign, still showing off the old New Zealand font (top right). This shows the proper shield for NZ 20A; New Zealand doesn't use wide shields (except in error).

Construction works were underway, which I believe was to dualize the southern reaches of 20A.

Upon leaving the airport, traffic is accelerated onto NZ 20 NB. Notice the vertically centred decimal point, as well as the use of a decimal point at all. What's 100 m between friends?
