New York Roads - Monroe Co.

Monroe County

Old font, courtesy Doug Kerr.

Original state-issue county line sign found on Livingston CR 84 entering Wheatland. The back of the sign tells me it was made in Carlisle, PA. This very well could have started out as a state highway, but I can't pin down anything definitive.

Relic of a bygone era, in Brighton.

St. Mary the Protectress is both the namesake of this Ukrainian church and guardian of its embossed driveway sign, along St. Paul Blvd. in Irondequoit. She didn't do a very good job with the sign, but the church is still around.

Signs in the order I found them on the walls of Sticky Lips BBQ Juke Joint in Henrietta.
