Under the utility lines


Looking westward at and across Wantagh Ave. This view is still technically in Levittown, but straight ahead is only an old railroad right of way and not the original Parkway. The Parkway comes in somewhere to the east of Wantagh Ave., but I am not certain where as I have not seen a precise enough map.


WB at and across NY 107. Possibly Parkway, possibly not.


Walking eastward from Wantagh Ave., across NY 107 in the second photo, to Stewart Ave. By the last photo, Albergo Ct. is on the left, part of or just next to the original Parkway, and Motor Lane is on the right, named after the Parkway and of course also next to it.

A westward view of the huge trench between Broadway and Stewart Ave. The Parkway once ran this way, but it was later dug out for some reason - flood control?

Bethpage State Park


Skipping the area of the intact banked Parkway curve south of Central Ave., which has its own page linked below, the easternmost section of Parkway in Nassau County follows the Bethpage State Park entrance road from Plainview Rd. and then heads straight northeast. I didn't get very far, but here is a quick walk EB on the old Parkway.
