Starting from New Hyde Park Rd., where the No Trespassing sign looks formidable. Except, when coming through the condos (or from the other end of the Parkway alignment), not only is access easy and immediate, but there is no such sign. In other words, and considering I am not the first to trace the Parkway through here, enter at your own risk.


The Parkway is well preserved behind the condos and up to the Old Court House Rd. overpass, which you saw on the main Manhasset Hills page. Going gets a lot tougher after here.


After slogging through a lot of dirt and mud, the Parkway starts peeking through and finally comes back out to play once more.


Continuing to Shelter Rock Rd. From time to time, the full width of the Parkway is visible, and other times you only get the EB or WB side. The utility poles always run right down the middle for a quick reference as to where you're walking.
