New York Roads - Croghan Island Mill Br.

Croghan Island Mill Bridge

Driving south past the east end of Bridge St. on Resha Rd. in Croghan. The original 1875 bridge collapsed from the weight of a truck and was rebuilt in 1952 but is now bypassed by a modern boring span on South Bridge St.

Northward views from S. Bridge St. and beyond to the ruins of the mill dam.

Since I can't drive it, I set out east across the east arm of the Beaver River that feeds the mill on boot.

Not anymore.

Back west to my car on the island.
