New South Wales Roads - North Shore Railway Line

North Shore Railway Line

Looking east from Alfred St. along Fitzroy St. under the North Shore Line just north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The rail approach is more gradual by mechanical necessity so it has a few cool old overpasses.

The west and east sides of the Burton Street underpass, no longer open to through traffic but good for parking.

Now we establish the age of the bridges to 1932. Milsons Point Station is along Albert St. west of the railroad.

You'll pass under this arch if you take the first exit heading north off the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Views from the west side of this arch. Each arch has a unique design.
