New South Wales Roads - M4

M4, Western Motorway

All photos are westbound.

This pedestrian bridge around Homebush was destroyed for the new City West Link tolled M4 tunnel connection. More freeways in a major city is a good thing, but not at the expense of cool bridges.

The signage at the A6 interchange is very professional, except for the handmade "no bicycles" sign at the M4 WB onramp. (Okay, it might just be old.)

The M4 used to have a toll plaza in Auburn. The plaza is gone, but the retaining walls and the former toll building at Skarratt St. remain.

The M4 is about to end out in Leonay - which is still part of Sydney - but not before a cool railway bridge that's very much not being destroyed. I really hope.
