New South Wales Roads - A1 - S. of Nowra

A1, Princes Highway - South of Nowra

NB through dualisation construction from the Forest Rd. intersection (by Currarong) into Nowra, where A1 is already 4 lanes. Dualisation now extends south to Jervis Bay Rd. Both there and at Forest Rd., A1 now has a divided intersection with channelising islands, wherein the side road adds a lane to A1 NB and SB has an exiting lane. (A lane actually drops at Jervis Bay Rd., down to 1 each way.) As I get into South Nowra (starting at the 15th photo), A1 as Central Ave. was already 4 lanes, but construction is redoing the kerbs and median. The 232st photo (4th from end) is at the Hillcrest Ave. roundabout just south of Nowra.

Heading back south through the same construction zone, starting at the Hillcrest Ave. roundabout, and ending in the last 3 photos at Forest Rd. There is a "divided highway ahead" sign on the left of the 9th photo approaching Warra Warra Rd., but I don't see any evidence of that being pre-existing to construction. The 19th photo (5th from end) is at strangely named BTU Rd. It leads to HMAS Albatross, which is Australia's naval air station but not something I would connect with a unit of energy.

Bonus: Unpatched NR 1 shield (is now A1) at Forest Rd.
