Southeastern End

94 meets 46 in Columbia, Knowlton Twp.


94 north on the Columbia Bridge at 46. 46 east is to the right via a ramp and 46 west/94 north is straight.


46 west at 94. The ramp to the right joins 94 north but 46 merges with it as well just prior to the ramp to 80 west.


94 north at the merge with the ramp from 46 east to 94 and 80 east. 46 west will merge in from the left ahead and then depart toward 80 west.


94 south leaves 46 east toward Portland, PA. The US 611 shield is now outdated but is from when US 611 followed what is now 80 through the Delaware Water Gap and met US 46 in Columbia. 46 and 94 were both defined to end at 611, so there was no concurrency at that time.

Northwestern End

46 begins at the I-80/94 interchange just north of downtown Columbia. Technically, 46 begins as the 80 east offramp and ends as the 80 west onramp, so it meets 94 just east of its western terminus within the interchange.

80 east at the beginning of 46, which is almost a wye split because the US 611 mainline used to follow what is now 46 onto 94.


80 west at 94 and the beginning of 46. The Delaware Water Gap is straight ahead in the first photo and the second photo is on the westbound Exit 4 ramp. Exit 4B is also for 94 south, which leads to PA 611.
