New Jersey Roads - Route Log - Multiplexes - 41/154, 41/573
NJ 41/CR 573, NJ 41/154 Multiplexes
Southern (Historic?) End (41/573)
573 begins or began multiplexed with 41 at NJ 168 in Runnemede. Both state and county signs show the route as existent, but it has been deleted from the Straight Line Diagrams.
573 north begins or began here multiplexed with 41 north (formerly Temporary 41 while along 573 until 2001).
168 north at 41/573.
Along the Multiplex (41/573)
41/573 north, where the overhead shows only 573 because it's county-erected.
US 30 west at 41/573, still showing 41 as Temp.
41/573 north in Haddonfield. 41 was Temporary 41 for many years because 154 was supposed to be 41 but was never completed. Thus 573 was just a temporary route for 41 and not truly a multiplex at all. Last photo taken by Doug Kerr.

Northern (Historic?) End (41/573), Southern End (41/154)
573 began multiplexed with 41 at a circle with NJ 70 in Cherry Hill. Now that the circle is removed, there are three possibilities for the northern end of 573 and 41/573. 573 could begin/have begun along 41 at the southern end of the 41/154 multiplex just south of 70. 573 could begin/have begun along 41 a block to the west of 154 where 41 turns onto Kings Highway and becomes county maintained. Or 573 could begin/have begun at the northern stub end of Kings Highway just south of the 41/70/154 intersection, in which case 41/573 would also begin/have begun a block west of 154.
41/154 south approaching their split just south of 70. 154 south is straight, and 41/573 south are to the right. Taken by Chris Mason.
154 south continuing away from 41.
41 north between Kings Hwy. and 154, possibly the end of 573 north.
Looking south from 70 at the stub end of Kings Hwy. 573 may begin/have begun here, and/or 41/573 may begin/have begun at the traffic signal just to the south.
Northern End (41/154)
154 begins multiplexed with 41 at NJ 70 in Cherry Hill.
70 east at 41/154. The first right is directly onto Kings Hwy. (possibly 573) and the second is onto 41/154.
70 west at 41/154.
