Eastern End

57 ends at CR 517 and the south end of NJ 182 in Hackettstown. It was intended to continue northeast to US 46.

Historic Alignment

Until 1969, NJ 24 followed what is now 57 west to Lopatcong. The original designation of 57 was on what is now 182. See that page for photos.
