4 Parkway was originally considered as part of NJ 4. It was renumbered to unsigned 444 in 1953.

Southern End

444 ends at NJ 109 in Lower Twp.


444 south merges into 109 south after a channelized right turn to 109 north.


444 north begins from 109 north, which bears left toward US 9.


The beginning of 444 north, taken in 1977, attribution lost.

Northern End

444 enters New York in Montvale. The original north end of Parkway 4 was at US 46 (Exit 154), extended to NJ 17 (Exit 163) and then finally New York with relatively short gaps between.


444 south begins at the south end of the Garden State Pkwy. Connector.
