New Jersey Roads - Flanders-Drakestown Rd.
Quite a creative road sign that drivers need to read when considering turning from River Rd. NB onto the west end of Flanders-Drakestown Rd.
Just after it begins, Flanders-Drakestown Rd. crosses the South Branch of the Raritan River. These photos start off facing north (Flanders-Drakestown Rd. then curves east), and I pivot west along the river.
Looking east at the bridge, looking east from the bridge.
Various views of the bridge from the north shore of the river.
Wrapping things up on the way east, here's the former Mt. Olive Baptist Church at Mt. Olive Road. Flanders-Drakestown Rd. is entirely within the Township of Mt. Olive.
Quite a, err, creative road sign that drivers need to read when considering turning from CR 613 (Flanders-Netcong Rd.) NB onto the east end of Flanders-Drakestown Rd. With a hyphen. Or at least a space. Anything.
