Northbound across the Uwharrie River, which the old alignment doesn't cross anymore, but for some reason the current alignment takes its sweet time getting back over, killing a bunch of trees in the process (that should have at least been replanted on the old alignment).


SB on the continuation of NC 109, Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive (people always seem to forget the Jr.) in Winston-Salem. The Business shield should have a LOOP in it where the state name used to go on Interstate shields (and still does, in some states).
