Connecticut Roads - CT 219

CT 219

NB (top and bottom) and SB.

The New Hartford Soldiers and Sailors Monnument was erected just south of US 44 in 1892. The statue is very similar to the one for the same war in Suffield that's 4 years older.

NB across the East Branch Farmington River on a 1929 truss.

Back south across the same bridge. Trust me and not the sign - East Branch.

CT 219 traces the east shore of Lake McDonough north of there, which the East Branch drains. Photos look north and west.

Wide shields for all!
