Connecticut Roads - CT 140

CT 140

Photos stay near the Connecticut River. CT 140 was once planned as a freeway east from this area, and later on was tentatively numbered as an extension of CT 20, but plans never materialized.

Heading east, it all falls apart after a promising beginning, and Massachusetts shields sweep in for the kill. Let's move on quickly.

Here's a (southward) view of the Connecticut River, with the I-91 bridge in the distance.

The usual CT oldness, eastbound.

The usual oldness westbound, as well.

I can't say it's old, but yep, it's embossed. In the parking lot of the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor - click for a LOT of old stuff, including embossed signage. Even when I'm not photographing roads, I treat you right.
