California Roads - I-15 NB - San Diego to Temecula

, San Diego to Temecula

Also along that stretch, but ugly (squished wide shields), so I don't want them at the top of the page.

The last photo is on the Exit 9 ramp. CA 274 should not be signed because the route has been decommissioned. On the other hand, the mainline shields are unique with the lowered number, so they can stay.

The last two photos are on the Exit 11 ramp. Why is this exit signed as "Junction 52" instead of just "52" like other routes? Unlike on I-805, 52 was built on both sides of I-15 at the same time, so the sign should have been designed from scratch with destinations.

All courtesy Lou Corsaro, and all gone now. "Scripps Poway" sounds more like a pharmaceutical name than a roadway linking two destinations. Exit 13 (Miramar Way) was constructed as a half-cloverleaf to the west. There's only desert to the east, so I imagine at one point there was to have been further development, but that does not seem to be in the cards.

From CA 56 (Exit 19) to the end of the future managed HOT lanes (High-Occupancy/Toll) at Exit 31.

The last photo is the Lilac Rd. overpass.

Odd, I don't see any rainbows at this exit (51, but who's counting?). The first photo in this run is rare for showing dual units, but off in that the "99" uses a different numeral than the '6' in "62". They ought to be identical.

The last photo is on the Exit 58 ramp.

The last two photos are the left and right sides of the same gantry. The interesting thing about the Murrieta Hot Springs Rd. sign (Exit 64) is that the I-215 split occurs first, but if you're pondering which way leads to Exit 64, fret not - they both have full interchanges. This is somewhat overkill, as a single set of ramps to/from the south would suffice.
