All photos are southbound on Hillside Ave., the southern leg of CA 170 that was supposed to be decommissioned in 2007. It was still alive in 2014. CA 170 was supposed to continue as a freeway to LAX, but now the only signed portion is the freeway north of US 101.


First intersection is at the Hollywood Bowl, which can see substantial pedestrian volumes.


The centering's a bit off in this sign, but it's been removed since.


Old above, old below. CA 170 officially ends at Santa Monica Blvd., CA 2.
