Québec Roads - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

Old QC 133 NB, and fittingly, an old speed limit sign. "km/h" was added to signs for the metric changeover in the 1970s, but not used on more modern signs. Most of these have been replaced by now.

1ère Rue NB over a little brook at 10ème Ave.

A much bigger bridge, Pont Gouin WB, connecting the Iberville side of the river to what has always been part of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The American MUTCD doesn't allow down arrows on signals, but this isn't the United States.

Looking back east along Rue St-Jacques.

A view from the south, looking up Rivière Richelieu (hence the "sur" in the city name).
