Pennsylvania Roads - Dutch Country

Pennsylvania Dutch Country

Amish Crossing.

Duck Crossing.

School Crossing.
Funny, that crosswalk looks a little narrow for a building...

Pick a direction, any direction, here in Strasburg. This is on PA 741 WB leaving town, the sign above is on 741 EB entering town (with one WB as well), and the one above that is on PA 282 north of Lancaster and has nothing to do with this. *deep breath* Embossed street signs are cool.

Catty-corner from the previous photo, May Post Office Road NB at PA 896/741, Strasburg. (896 is straight and to the right, 741 left and right.)

I missed Intercourse and Blue Ball. Sorry. PA 340 WB.

I wouldn't let that stop me. In fact, I got the EB and WB signs for Intercourse, and then for good measure picked up the EB Bird in Hand sign to go with the one I already had above.

From PA 72 NB, Lancaster (King St. - and PA 462 EB is Queen St.).

A cluster of shields that face tourists leaving Hershey Park.

A couple of more familiar Hershey sights. Notice that the lights alternate wrapped and unwrapped.

Not as famous as Chocolate and Cocoa Aves., but maybe this street corner in Lancaster has aspirations of grandeur.

The magic of sunset in Dutch Country, looking west from PA 897 just north of US 30 and then one eastbound.
