US 77 SB crosses I-35 outside Perry for the first time in Oklahoma. The two stay close until Waco, TX.


SB nearing Ponca City with OK 11 EB, far from the NB/WB side. The original US 77 heads due south on Pleasant View Rd., with a curvy and low-clearance railroad crossing southwest of here. US 77 was then realigned (both directions) to this alignment with an improved trestle, curving back into Pleasant View Rd. shortly hereafter (now a dead end cut off from US 77). For both of these two early alignments, Pleasant View Rd. had a wye intersection where OK 11 left to continue east. The new divided alignment takes an extra mile getting back to its old straight alignment and has no wye.
