NY 52A


The counterpart old-font shields on NY 17B are long gone, but NYSDOT never bothered replacing the ones on NY 52A.


Nor have they replaced a number of NB signs, so old that the "NY" 52 had a white background, later painted black to match the "new" (early 1970s) standard. Click on that 52 shield for a closeup.


While I was busy looking at signs, I passed this truss bridge across Callicoon Creek.
