New York Roads - NY 149

NY 149

All photos are westbound.

The clock tower in the heart of Granville, where NY 149, fresh out of Vermont, turns left. Obviously it dates to the mid-1940's.

Crossing the river in Granville, which should have a white on green sign, and heading into the countryside to Washington CR 17 outside Fort Ann.

Crossing not a river at all, but the Champlain Canal, part of the Delaware and Hudson Canal system.

Courtesy Doug Kerr, standard canal signage at Towpath Rd. on the west side of the truss bridge. "LOCK" and "9" should be the same color, even if they were applied to the sign blank at different times.
