Just because it's new doesn't make it better.

Interesting/old NB signage. Other than the white font, the CR 47 shield looks normal, which is unusual for Suffolk County. Usually the shields are wider for no reason.


Because I was traveling north, pardon the quality of these SB photos.


Some sort of detour for NB traffic across I-495 involves the 495 frontage road and Wellwood Ave. (CR 3). I didn't need to follow it when I was on NY 110, so I almost missed the non-cutout shields and lazy arrows (blue instead of white for NY 110).
