New York Roads - Albany CR 402

This and the sign at top are WB on CR 402, which ends in a wye intersection at CR 351. The sign is accurate, in that CR 402 is designated over both legs of the wye (the northern leg being a spur or "extension"), but misleading, in that there's no 402 left to follow.

CR 402 EB and NB. It changes directions abruptly at CR 404, which seems like the much more logical through route and therefore should be the number on the east-west leg heading back to CR 351. Actually, if shields like this are becoming the norm, I'd favor decommissioning CR 402 entirely.
