EB entering San Jon, where US 66 widened out into a four-lane divided highway just to pass through the town. I can't imagine there was nearly enough traffic to ever warrant this, but it left a cool median.


It's a tiny town, so there are only a couple of buildings of any kind, whether still occupied or not.


Parked in front of the only hotel in town, as if denying that US 66 ever left the '50s or at best '60s.
