New Jersey Roads - US 9

The NJ 157 shield is courtesy Scott Colbert. 157 is the old alignment of NJSHR 4, which carried US 9 to its original end at US 30. Once Absecon was bypassed, US 9 was extended all the way down to Cape May, leaving this stub into the heart of the town.

US 9 NB on Wyoming Ave., and across from it on Lisbon Ave. WB. Shore Rd. is NJ 157 to the south (and then CR 585) and US 9 to the north, meaning the sign from Lisbon Ave. is pretty backwards.
