New Hampshire Roads - NH 26

WB at the state line, on the west side of the Connecticut River and about 50 feet from VT 102. Believe it or not, those 50 feet are designated VT 26, by far the shortest route in the state and almost certainly in the country. Signs on VT 102 actually use the VT circle (the older design, still used for town-maintained routes), whereas any other NH route signed from Vermont would have an "N.H." in the circle at a minimum, further supporting that Vermont takes VT 26 seriously.

Looking north and south along the river, a far cry from how wide it gets in its namesake state.

Onto VT 102
