NB to the end of the road on the east side of Greensboro. The other side, shared with Future I-73, is longer, but together they barely hit 5 miles, with another 16 or so miles to go between them (Exits 3 to 19 unbuilt). That will make I-840 a northern bypass of the city; the southern bypass is already complete, but only signed as I-73 and I-85, so it's unlikely that I-840 will intrude south of its parent I-40.
