Maryland Roads - Warren Rd. Bridge

Warren Road Bridge

All photos are eastbound.

The three-span Parker through truss was built in 1922. For a time it sat on a state highway, most recently MD 143, but the only remnant of that highway is the stub of MD 943 that hangs off of I-83, extending Warren Rd. to the west.

Details of the front fascia. The bridge obviously wasn't built in 1797; that's the official seal of Baltimore, with the year of incorporation under the Battle Monument.

Throwing in some bridge details and a southward view toward the body of Loch Raven Reservoir.

I said all photos are EB, but this is a video, so it's WB. Click to play.
