Heading west (technically LA 523 NB) from the east end of LA 3132. By the time you read this, LA 523 has been fully upgraded to four lanes in this area.


One look east (SB) at the new concrete lanes.


Turning onto Ellerbe Rd. and continuing NB. The new lanes switch from the left to the right just before the LA 3132 overpass, which is where the highway went from 2 to 4 lanes before construction started. Thus, this last piece of the project could be considered more of a rebuild than a widening.
